This site showcases the photography work developed by students at of San Francisco de Paula International School, Sevilla, Spain.

The students examined and learned to appreciate this lens based medium from both the historical (critical) and practical perspective and to assist students to place photography within different contexts. Allowing students to begin to differentiate the different applications and disciplines of photography. Students began to develop the ability to analyze photography from both the technical and theoretical point of view. Students translated both technical and critical knowledge gained to assist with developing an individual response to a theme.

Students were taken through a program where they explored various aspects of photography. Beginning with breakdown of functional elements of a DSLR camera. Looking at the main factors that affect the image, such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Each week students were taken through a technical exercise that puts some of these technical elements into practice. From here students were encouraged to develop a personal project based on the idea of indirect portraits. After they developed this Project they proceded to develop their own personal project selected from various themes provided.  We hope you enjoy the work.
